Description

The Drug Enforcement Administration (DEA) intends to negotiate on a sole source basis with Motorola Solutions Inc located at 6 Harbison Way, Columbia, SC 29212 for the acquisition of the LMR Subscriber access on the Motorola South Carolina Palmetto Land Mobile Radio System. In accordance with FAR 5.207(c)(16)(ii), vendors that feel they can meet the Government's requirements detailed above may submit a capability statement which shall be considered by the agency. The Government anticipates the award of a firm-fixed price purchase order. A determination by the Government not to open the requirement to competition based on responses to this notice is solely within the discretion of the Government. In accordance with the FAR, the Justification for Sole Source will be posted 14 days after the award. The acquisition will be conducted through the FAR Part 13 "Simplified Acquisition Procedures." The North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) Code for this requirement is 334220. This notice of intent is not a request for competitive quotation. A Request for Quotation (RFQ) is not available. Closing date for submitting a capability statement is October 5, 2026 at 10:00 A.M. Eastern Time. All submissions should be submitted electronically to calvin.jackson@dea.gov.
