Description

This is a Request for Information (RFI) for the purpose of conducting market research, analysis, and screening of potential capable parties to provide base operations support services for a newly established training center located in Birmingham, Alabama. Services required will include housing maintenance, pest control, grounds maintenance, custodial, and other general support services. All information contained in this RFI is preliminary and is subject to change if, and when, a solicitation is issued. See attachments for additional details. **05/15/2026- Coast Guard is scheduling an onsite industry day for interested parties. Tentative dates: 06/23-06/26. Updates to this RFI will be posted once the event details are finalized. **06/05/2026 Update- Interested parties may attend a site visit at Training Center Birmingham South on June 24 or June 25, 2026. If you plan to attend, please email Arianna.m.williams@uscg.mil by close of business (COB) on June 18, 2026, and include the following information: Company Name, UEI, Attendee Name(s), phone number, and email address. Attendance is limited to two (2) representatives per company; no exceptions. Site visit will begin promptly at 10:00 a.m. and may last through 2:00 p.m. CST on both days. Please arrive before the start time.
