Description

The Veterans Health Administration, Network Contracting Office 02, intends to solicit from a single source IAW FAR 12.201-1 to obtain services for the FLUOVIEW Confocal System for at the New Jersey Health Care System. Anticipated Period of Performance: August 21, 2026 through August 20, 2027 Basic Description of The Requirement: This service contract is to perform as-needed maintenance and repair services (annual preventative maintenance visit, on-site maintenance, parts) on the FLUOVIEW Confocal System. The contractor shall perform services over a one-year period to perform maintenance and repairs as needed for the heavily utilized equipment essential for Research Service activities involving biomedical research. The equipment is required and requires continued maintenance and service to address regular wear and tear issues. Supporting evidence must be furnished in sufficient detail to demonstrate the ability to perform the requirements. Responses will be evaluated; however, a determination by the Government not to compete with the proposed procurement based upon responses to this notice is solely within the discretion of the Government. If no responses are received, the Government will proceed with the award. Responses are due on Monday, June 15 at 10:00 AM CST. Responses shall be submitted via email to Contracting Specialist Lee Kern at lee.kern@va.gov. Telephone requests or inquiries will not be accepted.
