PN: 568A4-26-SL104, Repair Roof Bldg 14 ** THIS IS A SOURCES SOUGHT NOTICE for the purpose of conducting Market Research. Proposals are NOT being requested nor accepted at this time. Responses are being requested from Service-Disabled Veteran Owned Small Businesses (SDVOSB) and/or Veteran Owned Small Businesses (VOSB) and/or Other Small Businesses who are registered and certified as a Small Business with SAM.gov and SBA.gov. ** Purpose: The VA Black Hills Health Care System (VABHHCS), Hot Springs Campus in Hot Springs, South Dakota is seeking qualified potential contractors to provide all labor, equipment, materials and supervision necessary to complete Project 568A4-26-SL104 Repair Roof Bldg 14. Work includes replacement of all shingles on the north side of Building 14. Existing shingle manufacture and color of shingles are unknown however; the contractor shall attempt to match new shingles to the existing shingles as close as possible and in accordance with the contract documents. Period of Performance for this work is 60 Calendar Days from issuance of Notice to Proceed (NTP), including all lead times on equipment and materials. This is a Sources Sought Notice only and it is not a solicitation announcement. The purpose of this Sources Sought Notice is to gain knowledge of qualified potential contractors and their socio-economic size classification. Responses will be used by the Government to make appropriate acquisition decisions. After a review of the responses to this Sources Sought Notice, a solicitation announcement may be posted. A response to this Sources Sought Notice is not an adequate reply to a potentially forthcoming solicitation. Bonding: Bid, Performance and Payment Bonds are not anticipated to be required, unless the quote is over $35,000. North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) code: 238160 Roofing Contractors, with a Size Standard of $19.0M. Magnitude of Construction: Less than $25,000.00. Cost Reimbursement: Response to this announcement is strictly voluntary. No reimbursement will be made for any costs associated with providing information in response to this Sources Sought Notice, nor any follow-up to information requests. Solicitation: At this time, VHA Network Contracting Office 23 anticipates issuing a competitive Request for Quote (RFQ) in July 2026; and awarding a single Firm-Fixed-Price (FFP) contract.
